Message from Founder President-Zulfiqar Haidree:
After a decade’s long struggle Al-Sehar Foundation is finally able to succeed in starting development and rehabilitation projects at Shahi Mohalla in the fields of education, rehabilitation, and cultural heritage. We are thankful to our partners in providing us support and resources for materializing the objectives of the Foundation. I am highly optimistic that Al-Sehar Foundation will do its best in achieving the desirable results in the coming years and in expanding the scope of such development and rehabilitation initiatives among prostitute communities living in other parts of Pakistan. We are hopeful that relevant public institutions and civil society organizations will join hands for the attainment of basic development rights of prostitute communities in Pakistan. Its still a long way to go but the good thing is that we have started our journey in the right direction.
